Cairo, with a population of over 10 million, makes it the largest city in the Middle East. Cairo is known for the pyramids of Giza, and for the Egyptian Museum that holds the largest collection of ancient antiquities in the world. Travel to Giza to tour the pyramids and the sphinx. The pyramids were built with huge blocks making a step pattern on the outside, the pharaohs believed that the soul rises to heaven by the steps. The inside of the pyramids have many passages and rooms that were made to fool the grave robbers. Tour the Bazzar where everything is for sale. You can find clothing, spices, foodstuffs, and even fine jewelry.
Sakkara Valley is where the most famous pyramid in the world is located. The step pyramid is called the Djoser step pyramid, and is the oldest pyramid known to man. It was built in the 27th Century B.C The Sakkara Valley is a huge burrial ground, and there are many ancient tombs.
Flight from Tel Aviv Sde Dov airport to Eilat (depend to availability) 19:00 pm / 20:55 pm / 22:00 pm. Pick up from Eilat airport and transfer to Taba border. Once crossing into Egypt, our representative will be waiting for you, and take you to Cairo.
Day 1:
- Start with the most famous sites in Cairo: The Pyramids of Giza, including the famous Sphinx. Visit the Papyrus Institute where we will be able to see the process of making Papyrus in ancient times. In the evening we can have a Cruise Dinner on the Nile for extra charge ($25).
- Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2:
- Start the day at the Egyptian Museum. In the afternoon you will have time to stroll through the famous market-area of the Khan el Khalili Bazaar.
- Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3:
- After breakfast at your hotel we drive to Sakkara, the ancient "Necropolis"of the Old Kingdom's Capital, Memphis, where we will visit a few pyramids and tombs, among them the known "Step Pyramid", the oldest known pyramid.
- In the early afternoon we will drive you to the Taba Border Crossing.
- After crossing the border, you will be transferred back to Eilat.(Please note that this overnight not included in tour, we can assist with a booking accommodation).

What you need to know:
- Have a valid passport and landing card.
- We require nationality, passport number, date of issue, expiry date and birth date for reservation.
- Voucher and visa/tax/tip money in cash only (payable in U.S. dollars, Euro, Pound Sterling or Israeli Shekel).
- Very warm clothing in Winter, cool comfortable clothing and head covering in Summer.
- Good walking shoes.
